5 days to go!
This time next week, Scott and I will be cruising through the backstreets of Rotterdam - Well I hope we will be cruising and not gingerly wobbling from one road junction to the next.
I imagine whilst on this journey we will be stopping here and there to chat with the locals; to hear nostalgic stories from old men as they reminisce of their own adventures on a scooter, to joke with school children as they look curiously at our strange 2-stroke machines, and to flirt with the pretty ladies as they dream to be a part of our care-free lifestyle. And so I thought, wouldn't it be nice if we were able to give all these people a little reminder of us - and perhaps encourage them to check out what we say about them on this blog.
So we shall be carrying with us some 2Vespas2Italy badges. These are a rare gift, and recipients should be proud to own one, and maybe one day even pass it on to their grandchildren with the curious story of the day that 2 helmets rode into town
Good to see you have got the priorities right. All the great explorers carried beads for the natives. I reckon that there will be places where a badge will get you a couple of pigs or even a wife.
